Dry almond kernel obtained from shelling off  different  varieties like Desmai roig, Guara, Ferranduel, Atocha, Ayles, Cristomorto, Ferragnes, Garrigues i Moncayo, among others.

Its fruit in-shell and almond kernel have different features depending on their variety.

Sensorial features:

  • Qualification:  Organic or Conventional
  • Colour:    Light
  • Taste:      Typical taste, not bitter.

Physic characteristics:

  • Out of grade: < 4%
  • Twins: < 4%
  • Broken or  damaged: < 1,5%

Chemical characteristics:

  • Mosture: < 6,5%
  • Aflatoxines: B1 < 2ppb. – B1,B2,G1,G2: < 4ppb.

GRADE:

Selected: whole kernel

Unselected: whole kernel with a maximum rate of 10% of broken pieces

SIZE:

S/14, 12/14, 12/14, B12 and pieces.
